On the nose, this wine is magnificently fruity and precise. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, small blue fruits and berries, combined with very fine touches of sweet spices/nutmeg.On the palate, it is fruity, well balanced, rather juicy and quite frank. The aromas found are those of juicy blackberries, crunchy blackcurrant and a slight spiciness.
The wine has a pleasant aftertaste.
Hubert de Bouard Cabernet Franc goes well with grilled meats, stews, tomato dishes or pastas, baked dishes with meat and vegetables.
