This Primitivo di Manduria was aged in barriques for a year. The typical toasted roasted notes are complemented here by notes of plum, black currant and blueberry as well as coffee, chocolate and cocoa in an exceptionally multifaceted bouquet. On the palate with silky, wonderfully integrated tannins, a full body, remarkable complexity and an elegant, soft and clear structure. The Masca del Tacco Primitivo the Manduria DOP Riserva Li Filitti is a nice accompaniment to many meat dishes, pasta variations or spicy cheeses.Intense bright ruby red, smells of wild berries and plum jam, red currant flower, dry violet, spices, on a bottom of graphite and cocoa powder. Smooth, full bodied, fruity and spicy, well balanced and unbelievably persistent.
