Fine and elegant nose mixing white fruit aromas (pear, quince) and vanilla notes. Fruit driven on the palate, the attack is fresh, followed by a round and supple texture. Flattering oaky notes appear on the aftertaste.

A very clever inquisitive character with that glint in his eye, a spring in his step and his exquisite taste and appreciation for the finer things in life, he’s never without a “feather out of place” except for when he finds those “shiny treasures” that make life that little bit more interesting.

Purple red colour. Intense aromas of fresh red cherry fruits with spicy hints, tobacco and coffee Long cherry pie and vanilla flavours magnified by a hint of spices. Rich and full-bodied with supple tannins and a long silky aftertaste.

A deep garnet colour with aromas of savoury, herbaceous red and black fruit with hints of tobacco and spice on the nose. Good cassis fruit intensity, well-managed tannins and a balanced, lean finish.

Critic James Suckling described it as "clean, crisp and flavourful", with a "pretty nose". Maturation in part new oak barrels for 20 months lends notes of vanilla to the freshness of the fruit. 91 points

The wine presents a complex aroma with notes of lees, fruit spice, apple, white stone fruits, and citrus. Well-balanced, pleasantly combining freshness, fruitiness and earthy characteristics, along with hints of baked goods. The finish is rich and lingering, leaving a delightful impression.

Food Pairings: An excellent choice as an aperitif and pairs wonderfully with desserts or salmon canapés.

A blend of mostly Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, split equally, with 2% each of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. The vines are closely planted and are on average over 25 years old. Showing a classic Médoc character, the grapes for the wine are pressed in an old vertical press and after small, relatively low temperature batch fermentations, the wines are aged in French oak: 20% new. Ripe, complex fruit character with a fleshy palate and integrated oak spice.

Chateau La Truffe is an elegant wine, with silky-smooth tannins, and subtle, delicate aromas. A toasted nose, underlined with vanille and a fresh, fruit-rich palate. Made of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.

Deep dark ruby, violet tints, delicate bright rim. Ripe plums, tobacco, a touch of blackberries and herbal savouriness, nougat and orange zest in the background. Medium complexity, red cherries, well-integrated tannins, salty-mineral finish, a versatile food match.
