In fire-fighting parlance, a “tillerman” steers the back of a hook & ladder truck. Our founder, Cecil De Loach, held this position in the San Francisco Fire Department. The Tillerman red blend exhibits a deep purple, with notes of ripe wild berries, black cherry, and baking spices on the nose. Layered flavors of black currant and raspberry lead to a long finish of spice and dusty cocoa.

Obtained mainly from hand-picked Sangiovese and Cabernet grapes. This wine, aged for 12 months in barrique, has a deep ruby red color with violet reflections, with a good consistency.

A complex nose with varietal definition that offers mulberry and black fruits intermingled withe cedar, oak spice, dried herb and subtle earthiness. The palate shows seamless style and substance with vibrancy, generosity and varietal Cabernet Sauvignon flavour. The oak adds layers and supports the fruit whilst the fine long tannins provide structure and exceptional fruit length.

Intense blueberry, vanilla, chocolate, and dark cherry, supported by a hint of black olive and subtle cinnamon and anise seasoning. The palate is plush and brimming with powerful berry notes, intermingled with vanilla and coconut. Persistent flavours, fine ripe tannins, a lavish texture, and spice complexity have melded well to produce this opulent and luxuriant wine.

The color is deep ruby. On the nose, fresh aromas evoke cherry, strawberry syrup and caddy wood from the Clapière terroir, with an additional complexity brought by time: hot stone, havana and black pepper.
On the palate, a lot of volume with soft and reassuring tannins.

55% Cabernet Sauvignon - 35% Syrah - 10% Cabernet Franc

A high toned Cabernet with bright aromas of violet, sage, black cherry, and a touch of roasted vanilla bean. The palate shows full body with a barrage of more dark coloured fruit that builds to a long finish of spicy tannin.

This is a well-balanced, fresh wine, packed with fruit, in which the notes of blackcurrants, black cherries and spices are especially notable.
In the mouth it is very concentrated with excellent, smooth, silky and firm tannin.

A long and very persistent finish.

Deep ruby/purple color, it has beautiful mulberry and sweet black cherry fruit, silky tannins, and a ripe medium to full-bodied opulence and terrific purity and depth. Drink over the next decade.

Howard Park 'Miamup' Margaret River Cabernet, is a well made medium-bodied wine, matured for 18 months in French oak barriques Deep garnet in colour with classic cabernet aromas of mint, violets, savoury dry herbs and blackcurrant.

The palate is fresh and bright, with red berries and plums, and a fine acid structure. While the juicy freshness makes this an enjoyable wine to drink young, it’s good balance between fruit weight, tannin and oak suggests the wine will age gracefully.

Food Ideas: Saltbush spit roasted lamb, with wild rosemary gravy.

Château Guillon has a deep crimson colour. This is a cru with plenty of character and an elegant, dense, mineral tannic structure. The main impression is freshness, highlighting the flavours of red fruits and ripe blackcurrants.

The finish is long and luscious - unmistakably one of the Graves greats.

The color of Château Mercier is concentrated, with a dark heart. Intense, the first nose exudes aromas of blackcurrant and violet that let a powdery floral of almond hinting at lilac blossom. The whole leaves an impression of delicacy and softness. The attack on the palate is round and concentrated, but gives way to a lovely fruity freshness. The mid-palate is velvety and delicate. The finish, elongated, is airy and elegant.

A hot year, allowing the grapes to reach excellent maturity, which gave smooth wines, characterized by a dark, intense and deep color. The nose is complex, fruity, floral and fresh. The aromas of fresh figs, blackberries, red fruits such as cherry and raspberry, as well as the noble violet characterize this great vintage. Tasting delighted by the power, richness, volume and density of each sip. Endowed with a very great balance, it is the alliance of power and delicacy, maturity and freshness.

The aromas are lovely, violets, raspberries and blackberries are all in play and the palate the feel is medium to full bodied. Jilguerín is wonderfully fruity and harmonious to the finish.

An easy drinking wine, great on its own or enjoy with pizza or tapas. Cheers!
