Caprilius 2016 is an extraordinarily rich and sumptuous Tuscan red produced from 100% Montepulciano. On the nose it has red fruits, spice and balsamic notes. On the palate it is complex, elegant, great body and with soft but satisfying tannins.

Intense, pale gold colour. Shared between hints of of apples and pears, lemon oil and cardamom, with huge intensity, purity, richness, balance, and texture, but is not yet revealing all complexity.

Deep, intense, splendidly fruited with a mineral spangle, taut by a great acidity which enhances a long, mouth-watering finish. Excellent aging potential!

Intense golden yellow colour. Staggeringly complex! Rich, languid, slow dreaming swirls of honeyed turmeric cream, of saffron and the heavy golden light of evening. White pepper folded into lychee. Cumin seed, rose oil, pink peppercorns.

Intense citrus notes – Seville orange, kumquat – jewel-cut the sweetness and weight into bevelled planes and angles. Sweet and pure with a long, mature finish. Magnificent!

Elegant wine will delight slightly sweet wines lovers and will pair with lacquered duck, foie gras terrines and desserts made with shortbread pasta.

Brilliant golden colour, with green tints. Fine and delicate, with complex aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and spices. Frank attack, a nice fineness. Remarkable length which ends with aromas of yellow fruits.

Wonderful “food” wine with fine, chiselled acidity. It goes well with the tasty dishes of a gourmet cuisine.
