Domaine Gayda Figure Libre Chenin Blanc is golden in colour with reflections of green. A nose that is both floral and fruity gives great complexity, freshness and minerality. Well balanced with a purity of fruit enhanced by its roundness and length. A pleasantly fresh finish.

Domaine Gayda Figure Libre Freestyle is ruby red with some purple highlights. Vibrant, expressive nose of red and black fruits, pepper, spice and “garrigue”. A full bodied wine, with an expansive mouthfeel, integrated tannins and a long, silky finish.

Cabernet Sauvignon is the signature varietal and this particular wine is the bedrock of our winery. This award-winning Cabernet is blended with traditional Bordeaux varietals grown on the farm. This wine displays a rich palate, a long finish, and fine tannins typical of a Jonkershoek Valley wine.

This single-vineyard iconic Cabernet is based on a high elevation vineyard site (350m). The finely textured decomposed granite soil, cooler temperatures, and ample winter rainfall creates perfect growing conditions for premium Cabernet. The wine is characterized by its silky tannin structure and unique floral notes. Since its maiden vintage in 2000, this has been one of South Africa’s most consistently awarded Cabernets.

An intense full-bodied palate is simultaneously lithe and light on its feet with a striking elegance and a vibrant core of earthy black currant and black cherry fruits embraced by silky soft powdery tannins. An impressively regal Cabernet Sauvignon with a sensual core of fruit, bright integrated acids and a supple, harmonious saline finish. A beautiful wine with class written all over it.

Our quest for taste continues through this new blend. Inspired by The Passenger (En Passant), the classic pop-rock anthem by Iggy Pop.

Here we find Macabeu associated with Muscat d’Alexandrie for even more structure and richness whilst keeping its pure freshness.

The vibrating acidity and fully concentrated fruit provide a lively, long lasting finish. Rich flavours of peaches and melon perfectly balances out the residual sweetness.
It is a great choice for those who enjoy sweeter white wines but also prefer some acidity.

It pairs well with a variety of dishes such as seafood, salads, and lighter pasta dishes or cheeses and sweet desserts.

Intense, pale gold colour. Shared between hints of of apples and pears, lemon oil and cardamom, with huge intensity, purity, richness, balance, and texture, but is not yet revealing all complexity.

Deep, intense, splendidly fruited with a mineral spangle, taut by a great acidity which enhances a long, mouth-watering finish. Excellent aging potential!

Brilliant golden colour, with green tints. Fine and delicate, with complex aromas of white flowers, grapefruit and spices. Frank attack, a nice fineness. Remarkable length which ends with aromas of yellow fruits.

Wonderful “food” wine with fine, chiselled acidity. It goes well with the tasty dishes of a gourmet cuisine.
