Syrah vines are harvested at full maturity and are blended with Cinsault. Syrah to express its richness and Cinsault for its bright and lifted fruit.

Lievland, directly translated, means “love land” and there are few who come to this farm that aren’t charmed by its bucolic beauty.

This is an elegant dry rose, pomegranate, currant and cranberry notes on the nose. The palate is smooth and fresh with lively red fruits which follow through to a lingering finish.

The Gigondas Olivier Ravoire is a relatively modern style effort. Its deep purple/ruby color is followed by impressive notes of cassis, spice and sweet oak. Medium to full-bodied on the palate, with a forward, charming style.

Alcoholic-Free Wine

Intense ruby red colour with purple nuances, the nose brings out intense notes of red and black fruit, raspberries, strawberries and black cherries. The mouth is velvety, delicate and silky with fruity flavours charming the palate and light tannins bringing an elegant structure with finesse.

Typical regional characters of liquorice, raspberry and five spice are matched with restrained toasty oak. The palate is rich in red fruits, cocoa-like fine powdery tannins and long lasting fruit flavours .

The Howard Park Leston Shiraz is a single vineyard wine from the Leston vineyard in Margaret River.

It is an exotic mix of ripe fruit flavours, a cleverly made wine, fruit, oak and tannins all employed on the journey from the bouquet to the finish and aftertaste. Blackberry, plum and mocha do most of the work, licorice and spice watching on from the sidelines. Plush mouthfeel is an ode to the soft but persistent tannins.

Skaapveld refers to the grazing land for sheep that adjoins many of the Shiraz vineyards in our region.

The Pale is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah made from grapes which are selected from the best vineyards in the appellation Côteaux d’Aix-en-Provence.

Adega de Pegões Syrah has a rich and fruity taste with hints of blackberry, plum, and cherry, along with a subtle spiciness and smokiness. The tannins are soft and the wine is easy to drink.

An approachable red, it pairs well with hearty dishes like grilled meats and stews
