For over 200 years, this family has been making quality wines. Using traditional viticulture, they grow their vines on gravelly, calcareous soil with optimal sun exposure. Also in fermentation, tradition plays an important role and is supported by modern vinification techniques for perfect aroma, structure and flavour extraction.Chateau La Truffe is an elegant wine, with silky-smooth tannins, and subtle, delicate aromas. A toasted nose, underlined with vanille and a fresh, fruit-rich palate. Made of 90% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cabernet Franc.
This is the top wine from the long standing family estate. Bright red cherry colour in the glass with delicate aromas of raspberries, plums, herbs and spices. Sophisticated and elegant in style with ultra smooth velvety tannins, deep rich fruit flavours and hints of soft oak. Lovely and long at the finish.
