Riserva di Manduria rounds off the Doppio Passo range in the premium category, because Manduria is considered the top region for Primitivo in Apulia. It is the only region that specializes in Primitivo.

This Doppio Passo Riserva is produced using a classic process in which the grapes are harvested in two passes and fermented on the skin: one part when the grapes are fully ripe, the other as a later harvest. This noble Riserva is then matured in oak barrels for 9 months.

The result is a smooth, full-bodied and profound wine that marries seductive aromas of wild berries and cherries with a fine wood note and a hint of vanilla. Due to its subtle fruit sweetness, Doppio Passo Riserva goes perfectly with strong cheese.
