Dedicated to Rome and made from a selection of Montepulciano, Cesanese and Syrah.

Intense on the nose with sensations of ripe red fruits, cherries in alcohol, red flower, everything enclosed in a very pleasant balsamic note. Very smooth in the mouth, pleasantly tannic, well balanced, elegant and very long in persistence.

Big, bold, fruity and savoury. A wine that begs for beautiful Italian food.

Take Italy’s newest legally defined wine area (DOC), add three deeply coloured red grapes and voila – Pogio Le Volpi Roma Rosso.

Dedicated to Rome and its historical greatness, this wine is a celebration to the richness of its lands. It’s a deep ruby red, made from Montepulciano, Syrah and Cesanese grapes, all hand harvested and matured, post fermentation, in a mix of French oak and large barrels from Eastern Europe.
