Montepulciano is an aromatic, tannic grape with low acidity making a lovely, morish wine.
Deep, ruby-red colour with violet highlights and a pleasant and fruity bouquet . Dry, and round on the palate with hints of red fruit. The finish is medium bodied with soft tannins making it easy to drink.

Pleasently surprised
Great wine and no headache which I often get even if I drink 2 glasses of new world wines. Can't beat it for the price we thoroughly enjoyed this wine.
different vintage different taste
Really was pleasantly surprised by a bottle of their earlier label, which was 2011. So I ordered 6 more bottles, and assumed that the label is different but maybe the vintage might be the same...Well, it is 2012, which was much more underwhelming, compared to its older sibling, the 2011. I can only give it 3 stars at best, and won't be ordering it any more...I hope WineRack could notify the change of the label as well as the vintage for future reference.
[Note from Winerack]: The vintage change was an oversight which we corrected once Steve bought it to our attention. We apologise and also wish to remind you of our return policy:
"... If you buy any of our wines and you don't like a bottle, we will credit your account for that bottle. If you have bought a whole case of one particular wine, then we will refund the whole case, provided that you have only drunk one bottle from the case."

Nice drop!
Well done WR! I just brought this wine out at my dinner party, amazed to find every person loving it. Anyway, must get back my dinner party.
